Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kalli Oliveira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Factor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kalli Oliveira looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliveira fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Jeez, both these guys look absolutely knackered already, that's not a good sign!
Oliveira fails to land the takedown.
Factor shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Oliveira pinned against the cage. Oliveira gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Factor fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Oliveira sprawls well initially but Factor persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Oliveira gets back to full guard.
Oliveira is trying to control the position but Factor postures up.
Oliveira wants to get back to his feet but Factor is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Factor accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Oliveira working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Factor doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Factor manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Factor scores with a takedown into Oliveira's guard.

Factor drops back, looking for a kneebar! Oliveira looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Oliveira looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Oliveira!
Factor manages to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Factor has his hands clasped together around Oliveira's back. He's all about the action.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Oliveira is nestled in close to Factor, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Factor moves into full guard.

Factor manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Factor unloads with some shots from mount but Oliveira bucks and avoids them well.

Factor is going olschool here, as he tries to force Oliveira to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Oliveira shrugs it off.

Oliveira wants to hold on but Factor pushes him away.

Factor has control of Oliveira's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Oliveira regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Factor lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Factor is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Oliveira is surviving well by controlling Factor's body position as best he can.

Factor with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Factor is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Oliveira has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Oliveira!

Factor is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Factor is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Oliveira has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Factor is proving hard to escape from.
Factor is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Factor has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Oliveira is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Factor defends well.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Oliveira tries to close the distance and clinch but Factor swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Factor. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Factor has hold of Oliveira's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Oliveira manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Factor swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Oliveira is now in Factor's guard. A big mistake from Factor there, giving up the dominant position!

Factor has his foot on Oliveira's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Oliveira works his way back into a safe position though.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Factor is looking to stall here but Oliveira recovers full guard.

Oliveira has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Factor can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Despite being in the dominant position, Max Factor just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Factor shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Oliveira as he avoids it easily.
