Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexei Zlobin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christus Pylqoe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zlobin has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pylqoe shoots in for a takedown but Zlobin shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pylqoe accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Pylqoe wants to get up but he can't break Zlobin's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Pylqoe shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Zlobin as he avoids it easily.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Pylqoe has eaten all the pies!

Pylqoe closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Zlobin did well to prevent Pylqoe getting side control.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Alexei Zlobin.
