Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Javier Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Helder Gracies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Silva could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Silva pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Gracies gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Gracies bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Silva's guard.
Silva doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Gracies wants to control from the top but Silva keeps moving.

Silva has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gracies can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Silva is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Gracies tries for a takedown but Silva circles away easily

and Silva counters with a nice double leg into side control. Gracies won't be happy with that.
Silva creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Gracies sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Gracies tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Silva wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Gracies is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Gracies wants to control but Silva postures up.
Gracies sneaks back into half guard.
Silva is keen to just control but Gracies is a slippery customer.

Silva thows a huge punch but Gracies dodges it nicely.

Silva is working for a guillotine from mount but Gracies frees his head quite easily.
Silva wants to control the pace but Gracies is squirming around nicely.
Gracies wants to hold on but Silva pushes him away.

Silva is bucking up trying to escape but Gracies cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Gracies is going olschool here, as he tries to force Silva to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Silva shrugs it off.
Gracies can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Silva is looking to escape.
Silva is looking to improve his position but Gracies isn't that keen on the idea.
