Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mart Mono (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and donald cerrone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Mono might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Roots rock Reggae. Mart Mono looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
cerrone misses with a straight right.
Mono looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
cerrone fails to land the takedown.
cerrone bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Mono's head backwards.

cerrone lands a high kick to the side of Mono's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! cerrone dives into guard, looking to finish.

It looks like Mart Mono has been cut.

Mono has his foot on cerrone's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. cerrone works his way back into a safe position though.
cerrone wants to stand but Mono is controlling his posture from full guard.
cerrone is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
cerrone wants to control from the top but Mono keeps moving.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
cerrone's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Mono looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Mono is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and cerrone defends well.
cerrone controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Despite being in the dominant position, donald cerrone just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
cerrone dips to his left and cracks Mono with an uppercut!
cerrone looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
cerrone lands with an overhand left.

Mono is rocked!

Mono tries to get into range but cerrone steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Mono! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! cerrone scores the big KO victory!
