Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mirko Boban (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boban comes to the cage accompanied by RTC - Hooligan. King is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Seek and Destroy. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mirko Boban!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nathan King!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Damien Edna and Bruno Hogan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boban throws a wild body kick that King sees coming a mile off.
King throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Boban sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Boban throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck King on the side of the head.

It looks like Nathan King has been cut.
King wants to clinch up but Boban keeps it at a distance.
King takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Horrible takedown by King or perhaps it was just good defense by Boban which made him look bad.
King looks for a takedown but Boban sprawls well.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from King.
Mirko Boban has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nathan King.

Nathan King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Boban throws a right and a left that King avoids nicely.
Boban fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt King.
Boban misses with a series of wild punches.
Boban lands a jab to the nose.
Boban is looking to slow King down with leg kicks.
King doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Boban scores with a kick to the midsection.
King fails with a takedown attempt.

Boban is looking to wear down King with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Boban lands a head kick. King smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

King is trying desperately to land a takedown but Boban is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for King.
Boban cracks King with a right hand to the side of the head.

Boban lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but King circles away quickly and effectively.

King tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Boban lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

The cut above Nathan King's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Boban fakes the leg kick and cracks King in the body.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Boban lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

King shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

King has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Boban.

King takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
King is breathing heavily.
Boban scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Boban ducks down and throws a hook to the body but King moves away.

Nathan King's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Boban connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent King tumbling to the canvas! Boban pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! King was done - good stoppage!
