The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Disadvantage scores with a body shot.

Disadvantage drops LaRusso with a left and a right! Oh, LaRusso is hurt - Disadvantage dives into side control looking to finish!

It looks like Daniel LaRusso has been cut.
LaRusso is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Disadvantage is trying to get an arm triangle but LaRusso is defending well.
Oh LaRusso is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Disadvantage misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
LaRusso seems to have got his legs back now.

Disadvantage thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
LaRusso regains half guard, as Disadvantage was trying to land strikes.

Disadvantage won't let LaRusso get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Disadvantage misses with a head shot.
Disadvantage is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Disadvantage misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Disadvantage has hold of LaRusso's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and LaRusso manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Disadvantage prevents LaRusso from getting the reversal.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Disadvantage fakes high and swings low for a body shot but LaRusso manages to avoid it.
LaRusso lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by LaRusso.
Disadvantage uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from LaRusso.
LaRusso tests Disadvantage's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Disadvantage is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
LaRusso takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Disadvantage displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as LaRusso throws out the jab.

Disadvantage lands an uppercut out of nowhere! LaRusso falls backwards - clearly groggy! Disadvantage dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
