Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cup Coffee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drew Alfonzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Coffee drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Alfonzo is looking for a sweep.

Coffee has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Coffee closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Coffee wants to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Well, if Coffee is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Alfonzo wants to control but Coffee is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Coffee controlling the pace.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Coffee tries to stand but can't do so whilst Alfonzo controls his leg.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Coffee shoots in for a takedown but Alfonzo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Coffee closes the distance and clinches up with Alfonzo, looking for a takedown. Coffee pushes Alfonzo against the cage but Alfonzo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Coffee shoots in but Alfonzo avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Coffee gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Coffee shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Alfonzo napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Alfonzo is looking for a sweep.
Coffee takes a little break here. Alfonzo wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Coffee decides to stand back up.
Cup Coffee is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

and Alfonzo counters with a shoot takedown. Coffee fights it but they end up in guard.

Alfonzo might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Coffee kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Alfonzo takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Alfonzo prevents Coffee from getting back to his feet.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
