The judges for this bout are George Francis, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayweather Jr with a hook.
Mayweather Jr lands with an uppercut that bounces Rutigliano off the cage and back into rage.
Rutigliano avoids a punch combination nicely.
Mayweather Jr lands a jab.
Rutigliano keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Mayweather Jr.
Mayweather Jr stalks Rutigliano and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Rutigliano's face. Rutigliano staggers backwards, shaken.

Rutigliano has closed the distance and engaged Mayweather Jr in a clinch.
Rutigliano keeps control of Mayweather Jr as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Rutigliano tries a knee to the head but Mayweather Jr blocks it.
Rutigliano is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Mayweather Jr gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Rutigliano is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Mayweather Jr is defending well for now.
Rutigliano lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Rutigliano tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Mayweather Jr smiles and moves away.
Rutigliano scores with a shot to the body.
Rutigliano drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Mayweather Jr throws a right hand that Rutigliano ducks under and follows up with a left that Rutigliano also avoids with ease.
Rutigliano feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Mayweather Jr's calf.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mayweather Jr catches Rutigliano with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Mayweather Jr stuns Rutigliano with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Floyd Mayweather Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rutigliano dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Mayweather Jr. That did some damage!
Mayweather Jr tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rutigliano was well out of range. Poor timing from Mayweather Jr.
Rutigliano throws a sloppy head kick and Mayweather Jr moves out of range easily.
Mayweather Jr dips to his left and cracks Rutigliano with an uppercut!

Rutigliano misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Mayweather Jr.
A frustrated look appears on Mayweather Jr's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Rutigliano jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Mayweather Jr walks away with a smile on his face. Rutigliano gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Floyd Mayweather Jr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Miller Rutigliano.
Mayweather Jr throws a right hand that Rutigliano ducks under and follows up with a left that Rutigliano also avoids with ease.
Mayweather Jr looks to throw the jab but Rutigliano is out of range.
Rutigliano is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Rutigliano drives through with a takedown into guard.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Rutigliano is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rutigliano wants to control from the top but Mayweather Jr keeps moving.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
I looks like Rutigliano might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Rutigliano wants to pass the guard but Mayweather Jr is keeping the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Rutigliano tries to free his leg and advance position but Mayweather Jr is retaining full guard.

Mayweather Jr connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Rutigliano momentarily.
Mayweather Jr throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Mayweather Jr throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Rutigliano stumbling backwards into the cage! Rutigliano bounces back off the cage towards Mayweather Jr, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Mayweather Jr lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Mayweather Jr celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
