The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nose scores with the left hand. Gordon knows he should have avoided that one.
Nose avoids a kick to the body.
Gordon fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Nose checks it well.
Gordon lands with a thumping leg kick.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Nose checks a leg kick.
Gordon lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Gordon scoring well with a low kick there.
A telegraphed right hand from Gordon misses the target.
Gordon tries to clinch there but Nose circles away.
Gordon misses with a wild body shot.
Gordon comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Nose fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Gordon lands with a thumping leg kick.
Gordon lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Nose feints and as Gordon raises his hands in defense, Nose changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Gordon wants to sweep but no luck.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Gordon holds on and takes a little breather.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Nose fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Gordon missing with a left hand there. Nose was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Gordon throws a hook to the side of Nose's head but Nose sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Gordon throws a looping overhand right but Nose ducks down to avoid it.
Gordon tries to close the distance and clinch but Nose swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Gordon misses with a wild body shot.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Gordon lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Nose has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Nose and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Flash Gordon dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Nice defenses there by Nose.
Nose ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Gordon tries to clinch there but Nose circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Nose counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Nose.
Nose pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Gordon is keeping the position for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nose is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Nose passes Gordon's left leg - he's now in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gordon is trying to control but can't.
Nose is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Gordon reverses the position - he's now on top in Nose's guard.

Nose has his foot on Gordon's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Gordon works his way back into a safe position though.
Nose is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Nose thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Nose throwing shots but Gordon is blocking nicely.

Nose looks to land a strike but Gordon avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Gordon controls Nose momentarily but Nose frees himself.
Nose with a flurry of punches that miss.
Gordon trying to keep a closed guard but Nose is proving a slippery customer.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gordon is on top in guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Nose keeping moving, preventing Gordon from controlling successfully.
Nose is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Gordon avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Nose.

Gordon has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Nose is working away from the top position though.
Nose thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Gordon's head.

Ronnie Nose showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Flash Gordon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gordon takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Nose is trying hard to land a takedown here. Gordon sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Nose shoots in but Gordon avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Nose takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Nose fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Flash Gordon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ronnie Nose.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Gordon tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nose was well out of range. Poor timing from Gordon.

and Nose counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Gordon!
Nose lands a big shot there that rocks Gordon but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Nose has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
