The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
cruel looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Pieru shoots for a double leg takedown but cruel sprawls well. He's pushed Pieru's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
cruel throws a series of punches but Pieru avoids them all with ease.
Pieru tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but cruel swivels and escapes.

Pieru shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts cruel as he jumps to the side.
cruel tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pieru paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Pieru shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has cruel pinned against the cage. cruel gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
cruel lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Pieru circles away quickly and effectively.

cruel tries to bum rush Pieru with a series of wild strikes but Pieru uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to punishment cruel.
