Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Mendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Herbert Truck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Truck has chosen Indestructible as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Herbert Truck was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tony Mendez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Herbert Truck!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mendez throws a jab when Truck was well out of range.
Truck swinging wilding here.
Truck takes a swing at Mendez's ribcage but misses.
Herbert Truck seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Truck lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Truck misses with a straight left.
Truck throws out a loose jab but Mendez uses good head movement to avoid it.
Truck throws a nice looking combination but Mendez bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Mendez misses with a wild body shot.
Truck fails to land with a series of punches.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mendez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Truck tries to avoid it but Mendez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Truck to the ground. Truck escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Truck throws a sloppy body shot
and Mendez counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Truck looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Mendez with a nice head shot there.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Mendez with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mendez stands up over Truck, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Mendez landing with the ground and pound.
Truck is rocked!
Mendez is in close to Truck's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Truck is still in real trouble! Can Mendez finish him?
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mendez arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Truck's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Tony Mendez!
