Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Murphy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tetsuo Hamachi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Murphy comes into the arena with Big pimpin Jay-Z blaring out of the sound system. Tetsuo Hamachi is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Eric Murphy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tetsuo Hamachi!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Daniel Cesar and Emerson Jorge.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murphy's corner calls for a 1-2. Murphy obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Hamachi gets the takedown into side control.
Murphy can't do much from the bottom here.
Hamachi lands a decent elbow from side control.
Hamachi misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Murphy defending against the ground and pound.

Hamachi thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Murphy is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Murphy is not content to let Hamachi control the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Murphy pushes Hamachi away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Hamachi gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Murphy fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Hamachi throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Murphy was covering up waiting for the punch and Hamachi finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Hamachi passes Murphy's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Hamachi is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Murphy!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hamachi misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Hamachi unloads with some shots from mount but Murphy bucks and avoids them well.
Hamachi has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hamachi unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Murphy wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Hamachi celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
