Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Squanch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Coleman comes to the cage accompanied by Home again. Squanch has chosen Animal as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Sam Squanch enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sam Squanch!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Coleman.

You get the feeling that Squanch really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Squanch really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Coleman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

You can see the frustration on Squanch's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Squanch goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Squanch is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Squanch thuds his right hand into Coleman's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Squanch cracks Coleman with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Coleman fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Coleman is working for a kimura but Squanch is defending it quite comfortably.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sam Squanch showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Oh Coleman is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Squanch tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Coleman paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Coleman shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Squanch manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Coleman here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
