The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams throws a leg kick but Ryan moved away.

Ryan has taken the fight to the clinch.

Ryan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Williams closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Williams stops Ryan from getting back to his feet.
Ryan avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Williams.
Williams looks to land a strike but Ryan avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Williams postures up in Ryan's guard and throws a big left but Ryan blocks it.
Williams postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Williams throws a strike but Ryan rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Ryan moves in looking to clinch but Williams pushes him off.

Williams avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ryan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Williams swats him away and circles back towards the center.

A head kick from Ryan lands but Williams takes it in his stride.
Ryan throws a right hand that Williams ducks under and follows up with a left that Williams also avoids with ease.

Williams closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ryan circles away.
Ryan throws a head kick that half lands.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The fighters circle, before Ryan throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Williams's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Ryan lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
