Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Finnigan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rauhanen.
Finnigan misses with a two punch combination.
Finnigan waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Rauhanen.
Finnigan throws a right and a left that Rauhanen avoids nicely.
Finnigan moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

It looks like Eetu Rauhanen has been cut.
Rauhanen showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Finnigan.
Noel Finnigan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Finnigan looks to land a combination but Rauhanen avoids it well.
A punch lands to the side of Rauhanen 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Rauhanen throws a nice looking combination but Finnigan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Finnigan throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Rauhanen staying out of range there.
Rauhanen lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Finnigan throws a hook to the side of Rauhanen's head but Rauhanen sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Finnigan throws a combination that misses
and Rauhanen counters with a three punch combo that has Finnigan backing up. Finnigan nods at Rauhanen to acknowledge the strikes.

Rauhanen turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Finnigan throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Finnigan misses the body punch
and Rauhanen counters with a thumping low kick.
Finnigan looks gassed!
Rauhanen cracks Finnigan with an open hand slap.
Finnigan falls off balance throwing a combination
and Rauhanen counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rauhanen scores with a head kick.
Rauhanen lunges at Finnigan with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Finnigan's hand.
Rauhanen dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Finnigan. That did some damage!

Finnigan is rocked!

Rauhanen closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Finnigan out cold! Finnigan corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
