The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dibs fails in his attempt to clinch.
Smithsonian throws a looping overhand right but Dibs ducks down to avoid it.
Dibs displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Smithsonian throws out the jab.
A head kick misses from Smithsonian.
Smithsonian shoots for a takedown but Dibs saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Smithsonian showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Dibs.
Dibs lands a left and a right that send Smithsonian crashing to the mat, dazed. Dibs thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Johnny Smithsonian has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dibs keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Dibs has cracked Smithsonian with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Dibs lands another huge swinging hook and Smithsonian tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Smithsonian, before Dibs can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Reibs Dibs!
