Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Slayer Megadeth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Russel Mauvernay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mauvernay is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Rugrats Intro. Russel Mauvernay has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Bruno Hogan and Eliza Hachem.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mauvernay throws a head kick that misses.
Mauvernay is looking to clinch but Megadeth is avoiding it.
Megadeth closes the distance and clinches up with Mauvernay, looking for a takedown. Megadeth pushes Mauvernay against the cage but Mauvernay circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Mauvernay looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Megadeth closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mauvernay to the mat! Mauvernay manages to get full guard.

Megadeth drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Megadeth jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Megadeth stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mauvernay swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Megadeth passes Mauvernay's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Megadeth seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Mauvernay for as long as he can get away with.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Megadeth, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
