The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jade cracks Shields with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Shields looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Jade finish him?

It looks like Mike Shields has been cut.

Shields gets the takedown into side control.
Jade is trying to get back to his feet.
Jade is trying to improve his position.
Jade managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Shields.
Shields in side control, throwing shots but Jade defends.
The ground and pound from Shields seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Shields looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Jade is avoiding damage well.
Shields creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Jade sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Jade tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Shields wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Shields loses concentration momentarily and Jade pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Shields crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Jade finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
