The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Dmitry Maklakov and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sabotka throws a sloppy head kick and Bloom moves out of range easily.
Sergei Sabotka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bloom blocks a head kick by Sabotka.
A head kick misses from Sabotka.
Bloom looks for a takedown but Sabotka sprawls well.
Sabotka throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Sabotka scores with a leg kick.
Bloom takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Bloom connects with a jab.
Sabotka misses with a wild body shot.
Sabotka throws a series of punches but Bloom avoids them all with ease.

Bloom is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sabotka connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Bloom to the floor! Sabotka dives in looking for the finish!
Bloom is rocked!
It looks like Johnny Bloom has been cut.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Sabotka in particular looking to stall.
Oh Bloom is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Sabotka controlling well, preventing Bloom from escaping the position.
I would not like to be Bloom right now.
Sabotka is looking to control Bloom but Bloom is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Bloom trying to control but not successfully.
Bloom is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Sabotka's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Despite being in the dominant position, Sergei Sabotka just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Bloom takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Bloom shoots in but no luck this time.
Sabotka tries a head kick but it misses.

Sabotka throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Sabotka fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bloom.
Sabotka lands with a slapping head kick.
Bloom tries to clinch but Sabotka moves out of range.

Bloom blocks a head kick by Sabotka.
Sabotka misses with a straight left.
Sabotka scores with a hook.
Sabotka chopping away at his opponent's legs.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bloom throws a body kick that misses.
Sabotka tries a head kick but it misses.
Sabotka swings for the body but Bloom moves out of range.
Bloom throws a leg kick but Sabotka sees it coming and moves out of range.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bloom has Sabotka up against the cage in a clinch.
Sabotka manages to break the clinch.
Sabotka pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bloom fails to land the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Johnny Bloom. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sabotka lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bloom tries to clinch but Sabotka moves out of range.
Sabotka ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
