The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valasquez keeps the fight on the outside.
Turner throws a right hand that Valasquez ducks under and follows up with a left that Valasquez also avoids with ease.
Turner fails to land with a series of punches.
Turner sizes up Valasquez with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Turner lands a lovely overhand right.
James Turner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Valasquez fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Turner throws a left and a right that both miss
enabling Valasquez to counter with a crisp jab.
Turner misses with an uppercut. Valasquez saw that one coming.

Turner throws a hook to the side of Valasquez's head but Valasquez sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

and Valasquez connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Turner tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Valasquez counters with a crisp right hand that drops Turner! Valasquez lets Turner back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Valasquez displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Turner throws out the jab.
Valasquez lands with a nice combination. Turner backs away looking to recover.

and Valasquez counters with a left right combination that sends Turner crashing to the mat - Valasquez wastes no time in diving on top of him and pounding Turner out for a TKO! Devastating finish!
