Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Tom Wopat!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Eero Elo!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Richard Clark and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good work by Wopat as he checks the leg kick.
Wopat looks to land a combination. Elo sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Elo changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wopat looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Wopat wants to get back to his feet but Elo drags him back down.

Eero Elo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Elo pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Wopat wants to break the clinch but can't.

Elo with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Elo manages to pull guard.
Elo has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Wopat would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Elo lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Wopat!
Elo tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Wopat on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Wopat tries to get out of the position.

Despite being in the dominant position, Eero Elo just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Elo pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Elo tries to close the distance and clinch but Wopat swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Elo doesn't manage to clinch there - Wopat circles away.
Wopat keeps the fight on the outside.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Tom Wopat will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Elo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wopat as he avoids it easily.
Elo shoots in and drives through. Wopat sprawls well.
Elo misses with a takedown attempt - Wopat sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Tom Wopat has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eero Elo.

Elo is rocked!
Elo drops his hands momentarily. Wopat doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Elo staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Elo doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tom Wopat!
