Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between darren Mcminty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Evander Miguel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Steven Brown and James Atkins.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mcminty bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Miguel is trying to control Mcminty's posture but Mcminty avoids it.
Miguel is trying to buck Mcminty off.
Miguel takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

It looks like Evander Miguel has been cut.
Mcminty lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Miguel down.

That has opened up Evander Miguel's cut even more.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Miguel is looking for a sweep.
Mcminty misses with the ground and pound.
An elbow from Mcminty crashes against the mat.
Miguel dodges the ground and pound from Mcminty.
Miguel manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Mcminty thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Miguel's head.

Miguel manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Miguel throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Miguel throws a sloppy head kick and Mcminty moves out of range easily.

Mcminty closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Miguel is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Mcminty scores with a couple of nice shots.

Evander Miguel's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Evander Miguel's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
