Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luke Lepinakov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eshkar Gabai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gabai has chosen Ya by Mosh Ben-Ari as his entrance music. Luke Lepinakov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Luke Lepinakov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Eshkar Gabai!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Valeri Chadov and Illya Tyunina.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gabai throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Lepinakov fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Lepinakov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gabai tries to avoid it but Lepinakov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gabai to the ground. Gabai escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lepinakov shoots in looking for a takedown. Gabai tries to sprawl out of it but Lepinakov keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gabai manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Horrible takedown by Lepinakov or perhaps it was just good defense by Gabai which made him look bad.

Lepinakov takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
