Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Zeke Rage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Francois Maximilian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rage throws a hook but Maximilian blocks it.
Maximilian shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rage but Rage pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Rage really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Maximilian bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Rage looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Rage throws a hook but Maximilian blocks it.
Rage throws a jab but it's blocked by Maximilian.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rage looks to land a right hand but Maximilian moved out of range.

Maximilian fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Zeke Rage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rage thows a left - swing and a miss!
Rage lands a jab.
Rage misses with a two punch combination.
Maximilian tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rage swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Maximilian shoots for a double leg takedown but Rage sprawls well. He's pushed Maximilian's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Zeke Rage has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Francois Maximilian.
Maximilian moves away from the strike by Rage.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Rage stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rage wants it to stay on the feet.
Rage swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Maximilian is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Maximilian closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Rage did well to prevent Maximilian getting side control.

Maximilian is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Rage sees it coming and defends easily.

Maximilian is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Rage defends it well.

Maximilian works his way into full mount!

Maximilian goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Rage is on top in guard.
Rage tries to stand but Maximilian is controlling from the bottom.
Rage is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Rage has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Maximilian is proving hard to escape from.

Maximilian isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Rage stacks Maximilian on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Rage!

Maximilian displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rage throws out the jab.

Maximilian circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Rage. Maximilian falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Rage!
