Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kalahu Kahala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicki Lilltroll (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nicki Lilltroll will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kahala shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lilltroll as he avoids it easily.

Lilltroll gets a clinch.
Lilltroll gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Kahala has Lilltroll pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Lilltroll manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Kahala is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Kahala tries to pull guard but Lilltroll won't allow it.

Kahala misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Kahala shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kahala showed some decent athleticism there.

Kahala wants to work for an arm triangle but Lilltroll is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Lilltroll slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Kahala is breathing heavily.

Lilltroll is looking for a triangle but Kahala pushes his legs off easily.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Horrible takedown by Kahala or perhaps it was just good defense by Lilltroll which made him look bad.
Kahala looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Lilltroll tries a head kick but it misses.

Kahala changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lilltroll looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Kahala thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kahala tries to score with some ground and pound. Lilltroll controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Kahala has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Lilltroll is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Kahala yanks on the arm and Lilltroll is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Kahala.
