These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dmuchowski cracks Blizt with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Dmuchowski swats away the attempt to clinch by Blizt.
Dmuchowski jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Blizt tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Blizt tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dmuchowski swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Dmuchowski checks a leg kick nicely.

Blizt has closed the distance and engaged Dmuchowski in a clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Blizt tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Dmuchowski avoids it.
Blizt comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Blizt trying to land knees to the body.
Blizt prevents a takedown attempt there.
Dmuchowski blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Blizt just misses with a elbow thrown towards Dmuchowski's brow.
Blizt throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Blizt tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Dmuchowski avoids it.
Dmuchowski tries to score a body lock takedown but Blizt shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Dmuchowski gets control of Blizt's arms and successfully pulls guard. Dmuchowski will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Blizt trying to stand up but can't free himself from Dmuchowski's guard.

Dmuchowski is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Dmuchowski works his way into side control.
Blizt is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Dmuchowski has an Americana. Blizt didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Dmuchowski is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Dmuchowski hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
