Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Beucher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julius Prime (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Julius Prime will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bobby Beucher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Julius Prime!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prime tries to clinch up.
Prime looks to land a right hand but Beucher moved out of range.

Beucher throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Beucher swats away the attempt to clinch by Prime.

Prime tries to clinch up but Beucher circles away and keeps his distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A nice inside leg kick there by Prime. That's going to slow Beucher down.

Prime ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Prime no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Beucher shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Prime sprawls well. Prime wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Beucher gets slowly back to his feet.

Beucher shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Prime but Prime pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Beucher closes this distance looking for a takedown but Prime circles away.

Beucher moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Prime throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Beucher sees it coming and avoids it easily.

and Prime makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Beucher avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Beucher shoots in for a takedown but Prime shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Prime feints and then cracks Beucher's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Beucher down.
Prime looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Beucher closes the distance and lands a one-two.

and Beucher counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Prime tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Prime dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Beucher. That did some damage!

and Beucher counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Beucher wants to pass the guard but Prime is keeping the position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Prime can do anything to dispel that myth.

Beucher postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Julius Prime showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!

Beucher throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Prime's waist but Prime gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Beucher off to one side.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
