Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Stanly Manly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and brody bullock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stanly Manly could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to brody bullock's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
bullock tries to score a power double leg takedown but Manly sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten bullock somewhat.
bullock shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Manly as he avoids it easily.

bullock darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

bullock stands up and beckons Manly to join him on the feet.
Nice takedown defense from Manly. No joy for bullock on that attempt.
Stanly Manly has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of brody bullock.
bullock looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Manly could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
bullock might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Manly kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

bullock is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Manly fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

That was a close round but I would say that Stanly Manly will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

bullock shoots in and bounces Manly off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Manly is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
bullock sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Manly is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
bullock stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Manly swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
A thudding body kick lands there by bullock!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Manly fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Stanly Manly is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Manly shoots in looking for a takedown. bullock tries to sprawl out of it but Manly keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. bullock manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Manly looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
bullock is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Manly's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Manly's back!

brody bullock showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Stanly Manly overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

bullock wants to control but Manly is having none of it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Manly looking to sit in guard and control but bullock gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
bullock not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
bullock passes Manly's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
bullock seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Manly is looking for a sweep. bullock is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
bullock seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Let's hope that bullock has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Well bullock has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
