Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Cookie Monster!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monster stuffs the takedown attempt from Call. Call gets slowly back to his feet.
Call moves away from the strike by Monster.
Monster throws a jab when Call was well out of range.
Monster tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Call was well out of range. Poor timing from Monster.
Monster misses with a two punch combination.

Monster drops Call with a beautiful combination! Call stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Monster is looking for the KO!


Call is rocked!
Call looks gassed!

Call shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Monster's guard.
Monster manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Call manages to get himself to full guard.
Monster advances to half guard.

Monster is trying to work for a kimura but Call is defending well.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Monster passes to full mount!
Call tries to reverse the position but Monster maintains control.

Monster has hold of Call's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Call manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Monster looking to secure an arm triangle but Call defends it well.

Monster is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Call has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Call is squirming around, avoiding Monster's attempts to control the action.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Call is in all sorts of trouble here.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
