Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between George Stanley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donald Duck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, George Stanley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Donald Duck!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duck misses the shot to the body.

Duck throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
The crowd cheers as Stanley lands an impressive looking overhand right. Duck doesn't seem phased though.
Stanley takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Duck fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Duck rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Stanley moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Stanley ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Duck shoots in looking for a takedown. Stanley tries to sprawl out of it but Duck keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stanley manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Duck throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Stanley on the side of the head.

The fighters circling - Duck throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Duck misses with a double jab.
Duck swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A bone on bone clash there as Stanley blocks the leg kick.
Duck throws a head kick that misses.
Stanley displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Duck throws out the jab.
Duck throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

A jab from Duck finds it's way through Stanley's defenses.
Duck misses with a two punch combination.
Duck is looking to land body kicks.
Stanley takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Stanley moves out of range of the body kick from Duck.
Stanley blocks a head kick by Duck.
Stanley dodges the punch combination from Duck.
Duck throws a looping overhand right but Stanley ducks down to avoid it.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Duck missing with a left hand there. Stanley was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Duck pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Duck swings for the body but Stanley moves out of range.
Duck tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A big left from Stanley misses.
Duck throws a right and a left that Stanley avoids nicely.
Duck punishes Stanley's body with a nice straight punch.
Duck pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Stanley looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Duck swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Stanley counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Duck digs a good body shot into Stanley's ribs.
Stanley lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Donald Duck seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Duck throws a combination that misses
and Stanley counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.


Duck is rocked!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Duck throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Stanley counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Duck off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Stanley follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Duck was out before he hit the floor.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). George Stanley!
