The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
da Silva tries for a takedown but Pickens sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Pickens throws a head kick but da Silva moves out of range.
da Silva fails to land the takedown.
da Silva closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

da Silva is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Pickens has escaped the position, nice work there.
