The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bean gets a clinch.
Mack tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Bean smiles and moves away.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

with the fighters clinched against the cage, Bean creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Butter Bean is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Bean has closed the distance and engaged Mack in a clinch.
Mack drops down looking for an ankle pick but Bean pulls his leg out and moves away.
Bean tries to clinch there but Mack circles away.

Mack shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bean but Bean pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Mack takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Bean instigates a clinch.
Bean stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Bean lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Bean tries to break the clinch but Mack is controlling the position.
Bean gets through Mack's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Mack wants a takedown but no success here.

Bean breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mack tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
