Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sascha Golobew (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anton Wasa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wasa has chosen UK Subs - Warhead as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Golobew uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wasa.
Wasa misses the shot to the body.

Golobew drives through with a takedown into guard.
Wasa tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Golobew stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wasa swivels though and keeps the full guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wasa can do anything to dispel that myth.

Golobew postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Wasa is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Golobew, into his guard.

Anton Wasa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Golobew walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Wasa wants to clinch up but Golobew keeps it at a distance.
Golobew throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Golobew takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Golobew moves forwards but Wasa connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Wasa gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Golobew throws a strike but Wasa rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Anton Wasa dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
