The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stam tries to close the distance and clinch but Pierce swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Stam throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Pierce.

It looks like Kyle Pierce has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pierce avoids the head kick by Stam.

Pierce scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Stam doesn't seem bothered though.

Pierce fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Stam will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Pierce throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Stam sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Pierce lands a big right hand that sends Stam crashing to the mat! Pierce stays standing though and waves Stam back to his feet!
Stam is still on wobbly legs! Can Pierce finish him?
Pierce is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Stam hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
