Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Wade Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick shannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Final Countdown by Europe. shannon is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: yesterdays headlines. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! shannon crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Williams - the referee stops the clock and shannon gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Williams. shannon manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
