The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goldman loads up on a big right hand but Trueman slips the punch.
Mort Goldman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Trueman gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Goldman lands a jab to the nose.
Trueman looks to land a left hand but Goldman moved out of range nicely.
The fighters circling - Trueman throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
The crowd cheers as Goldman lands an impressive looking overhand right. Trueman doesn't seem phased though.

Goldman darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Goldman looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Goldman fails with an attempt to clinch.
Goldman shoots for a double leg takedown but Trueman sprawls well. He's pushed Goldman's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Goldman throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Trueman's waist but Trueman gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Goldman off to one side.

Goldman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Trueman tries to avoid it but Goldman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Trueman to the ground. Trueman escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Trueman walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Goldman throws out a loose jab but Trueman uses good head movement to avoid it.
Goldman moves in looking to clinch but Trueman pushes him off.

Goldman comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Goldman clobbers Trueman with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Goldman is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Trueman is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Goldman has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Trueman is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Goldman yanks on the arm and Trueman is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Goldman.
