PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lazarus Envy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hector Muchacho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Envy might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Converge - Dark Horse. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Muchacho closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Muchacho lands in his opponent's guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Envy is on top in guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Muchacho can do anything to dispel that myth.
Envy tries to stand but Muchacho is controlling from the bottom.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Envy wanted to stand there but Muchacho had control of the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Lazarus Envy will probably get the nod.

Envy has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Muchacho doesn't defend quickly enough and Envy has managed to lock this one up! Can Muchacho escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Envy on a fantastic submission victory.
