Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Abodohl Makadabi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Neal Titus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Titus doesn't manage to clinch there - Makadabi circles away.

Makadabi is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Makadabi is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Titus's half guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Makadabi avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Titus misses with a takedown

and Makadabi counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Titus is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Makadabi is breathing heavily.

Titus looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Titus is pressing down on Makadabi's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Titus drops back looking for a leg! Makadabi is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Makadabi manages to kick Titus off! Titus jumps back into Makadabi's guard.

and Makadabi counters with a nice double leg into side control. Titus won't be happy with that.

Makadabi tries to stand but Titus controls the position and pulls Makadabi into his guard.
Makadabi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Titus swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Titus is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Makadabi is aware though and is defending well.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Makadabi postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

That was a close round but I would say that Abodohl Makadabi will probably get the nod.

No joy there for Makadabi, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Titus has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Makadabi doesn't defend quickly enough and Titus has managed to lock this one up! Can Makadabi escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Titus on a fantastic submission victory.
