Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Saint Pierre!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jerrin Booth!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Booth ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pierre moves away.
A slow jab from Booth misses its intended target.
Nice takedown defense from Booth. No joy for Pierre on that attempt.
Booth throws a shot to the body.
Booth is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Pierre.
Booth throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Booth throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
No luck for Pierre with that takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Booth ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pierre moves away.

Pierre closes the distance and clinches up with Booth, looking for a takedown. Pierre pushes Booth against the cage but Booth circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Booth can do anything to dispel that myth.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pierre accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Pierre looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Booth is fending him off so far but Pierre persists. Nope, Booth circles away and we're back to standing.
Pierre has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Booth finds it's way round the side to connect with Pierre's head.

Pierre shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Booth but Booth pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Pierre dives in and grabs Booth's left leg, looking for a takedown. Booth pushes down on Pierre's head and hops out.

Pierre takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Pierre looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Jerrin Booth showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Jerrin Booth comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Booth winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
