The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammer shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Clement defends it nicely.
Clement misses with a low kick.
Hammer throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Clement's waist but Clement gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hammer off to one side.
Hammer shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Clement as he jumps to the side.
Theo Clement has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Hammer.
Hammer blocks a low kick nicely.
Hammer slips a jab and a cross from Clement.
Hammer doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Nice takedown defense from Clement. No joy for Hammer on that attempt.
Hammer takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Clement fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Clement drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Hammer dives on top into guard.

Clement looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Hammer is defending well. Clement quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Hammer has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Clement celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
