The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cage shoots in for a takedown but Grubinic shows good takedown defense.

Grubinic closes the distance and clinches.
Cage fails to pull guard.

Grubinic manages to break the clinch.
Cage wants to clinch but Grubinic slips to the side

and Grubinic counters by moving into the clinch.
Cage tries to pull guard but Grubinic holds him up against the cage and eventually Cage drops back down to his feet.
Marko Grubinic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Movado Cage.
Cage jumps guard but Grubinic stands there with Cage around his waist. Cage gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Grubinic escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Cage drives through with a takedown into guard.
Grubinic wants to stand but Cage is controlling the position.
Grubinic will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Cage postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Cage passes Grubinic's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Cage is trying for a kimura here. Grubinic looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Cage wins by kimura!
