Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jukka Peltonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Ronin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peltonen kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Kotiteollisuus - Kuolemajärvi. Jukka Peltonen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Peltonen pushes Ronin up against the cage in a clinch.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Peltonen just misses with a elbow thrown towards Ronin's brow.
Ronin tries to land knees in the clinch but Peltonen avoids the damage to the body.

Peltonen has picked Ronin up - he's going for a ride! Peltonen dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Ronin escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Peltonen drops back, looking for a kneebar! Ronin looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Ronin looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Ronin!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Ronin bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Peltonen's guard.
