Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Randy Savage!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Donatello Bradman and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black shoots in for a takedown but Savage shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Savage moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Black shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Savage but Savage pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Savage throws a shot to the body.
Black tries to move into range but Savage moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Savage lands with a right hand.
Black has a takedown stuffed.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zeke Black. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Savage throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Black on the side of the head.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Black.
Black walks into a jab.
Black closes this distance looking for a takedown but Savage circles away.

Black needs to keep his hands up - Savage had a free shot at his head there.
Savage's corner calls for a 1-2. Savage obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Savage lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

It looks like Zeke Black has been cut.
Black is trying hard to land a takedown here. Savage sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Black needs to keep his hands up - Savage had a free shot at his head there.
Black dives in and grabs Savage's left leg, looking for a takedown. Savage pushes down on Black's head and hops out.
Black is breathing heavily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Savage stuffs the takedown attempt from Black. Black gets slowly back to his feet.
Black ducks right into an uppercut from Savage.

Savage cracks Black with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Savage connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Black momentarily.
Savage scores with a jab. Black acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Black takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Black shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Black takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Savage works over Black's head and body with a nice combination.

Zeke Black's cut is getting worse.
Savage scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Zeke Black seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Black walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Savage lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Black sprawling to the canvas. Savage follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Black hang on?

Zeke Black's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Savage trying to pass the guard but Black defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Black is trying to stand up here but Savage is controlling him well.

Savage wants to stand but Black has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Savage is controlling the pace.
Savage seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Savage looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Savage really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Black. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Savage not doing much here.
Black wants to get back to full guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Savage keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Black is looking for a sweep. Savage is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Savage lands a nice short elbow.
Savage landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Savage is keen to just control but Black is a slippery customer.
Savage with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Black misses with some strikes from the bottom.

Jeez, Zeke Black's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Black dives in and grabs Savage's left leg, looking for a takedown. Savage pushes down on Black's head and hops out.

Savage scores with a sloppy right hand. Black should have avoided that one.
Savage moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Savage will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Savage lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Black throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Savage's waist but Savage gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Black off to one side.
