Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Phil Macaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roberto Fabiano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Fabiano's choice of entrance music: Sérgio Mendes - Batucada. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Roberto Fabiano enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Fabiano.
Fabiano shoots for a takedown but Macaw saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Fabiano fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Macaw sprawls well initially but Fabiano persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Fabiano wants to pass to mount but Macaw is defending the position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Macaw goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Fabiano tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Macaw swivels and escapes.

Macaw stuffs the takedown attempt from Fabiano. Fabiano gets slowly back to his feet.
Macaw lands a right hook to the body.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Macaw slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Macaw bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Macaw stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Roberto Fabiano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Macaw tests Fabiano's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Macaw looks to score with a jab to the body but Fabiano is just out of range.
Macaw walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Fabiano checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Macaw connects with a single shot there.
Macaw displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Fabiano.
Macaw lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Fabiano can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Macaw and Fabiano drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Macaw.
