Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Strike Ju Jit Su (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damian De La Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De La Cruz has chosen Ransom as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Alexandre Firmino and Luis Engracia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ju Jit Su throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent De La Cruz stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Ju Jit Su leaves De La Cruz with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Ju Jit Su throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

De La Cruz won't allow Ju Jit Su to pass to mount.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Ju Jit Su is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. De La Cruz doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ju Jit Su.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Ju Jit Su lands a left and a right that send De La Cruz crashing to the mat, dazed. Ju Jit Su thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Damian De La Cruz has been cut.
De La Cruz should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ju Jit Su is defended easily by De La Cruz.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Strike Ju Jit Su. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Ju Jit Su dances in with a quick combination. De La Cruz is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Ju Jit Su snaps De La Cruz's head back. De La Cruz stumbles backwards against the cage. Ju Jit Su steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with De La Cruz's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. De La Cruz just didn't come prepared.
