Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Patrik Abrahamsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donkerello Punchistan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Abrahamsson has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Punchistan throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

enabling Punchistan to counter with a crisp jab.

Abrahamsson doesn't manage to clinch there - Punchistan circles away.
Patrik Abrahamsson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Punchistan misses with a kick to the body.
Punchistan lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Abrahamsson at a distance.

and Punchistan counters with a crisp one two that drops Abrahamsson! Punchistan thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Abrahamsson to his feet! Abrahamsson is in big trouble!
Abrahamsson has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Punchistan closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Abrahamsson did well to prevent Punchistan getting side control.
Punchistan takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Let's hope that Punchistan has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Abrahamsson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

Abrahamsson is trying to get back to his feet but Punchistan has full control of the position and if anything, Abrahamsson has just worked his way into a worse spot.
