The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meridan misses with a looping right.
Meridan misses with a looping left.
Stark moves away from the strike by Meridan.
The crowd cheers as Stark lands an impressive looking overhand right. Meridan doesn't seem phased though.
Meridan tries to bum rush Stark with a series of wild strikes but Stark uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
No joy there for Stark, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Stark lands with a nice combination. Meridan backs away looking to recover.
Stark scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Meridan throws a combination that misses
and Stark counters with a right hand to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Meridan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Stark.
Stark connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Meridan's hands.
Stark misses with a jab, cross combination.
A big left from Meridan misses.
Stark displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Meridan throws out the jab.
Stark walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Meridan drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Stark swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Meridan's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
