Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dennis Bosh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shefki Kuqi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bosh tries to clinch but Kuqi is having none of it.
Kuqi leaves Bosh with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Bosh has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Kuqi takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

You get the feeling that Kuqi really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Bosh has hold of Kuqi's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Kuqi manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
