The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gibson moves into the clinch successfully.
Lesnar tries to score a body lock takedown but Gibson shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Gibson breaks from the clinch.
Gibson stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Gibson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Lesnar parries the strikes from Gibson easily there. Gibson is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Lesnar to escape.
The strikes coming from Gibson are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Lesnar tries to improve position but can't.
Gibson tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

Gibson stands up and we're back to a striking position.
