Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between JT Gastro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tod Muffle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tod Muffle will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gastro is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Gastro misses with a straight left.
JT Gastro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A jab from Gastro finds it's way through Muffle's defenses.
It looks like Tod Muffle has been cut.
Gastro thows a body shot but no joy.
Gastro drops Muffle with a nice combination! Gastro dives into Muffle's guard, looking to finish!
Muffle is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gastro is stalling in the full guard.

Muffle thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Muffle drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Gastro manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Muffle has Gastro in his guard.
Gastro has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Muffle avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Muffle is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Muffle drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Muffle jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Tod Muffle's cut.
That's time! Gastro's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Gastro tries to clinch but Muffle is having none of it.
JT Gastro is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Gastro lands with an uppercut that bounces Muffle off the cage and back into rage.
A combination from Gastro does no damage.
Muffle swats away the attempt to clinch by Gastro.
Muffle circles away from the clinch attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gastro tries for a takedown but Muffle sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Gastro misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Muffle.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Muffle utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Gastro has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
No luck for Muffle with that takedown attempt.
Gastro fails in his attempt to clinch.
Gastro slaps away a takedown attempt from Muffle, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Gastro pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Gastro scores with a takedown into Muffle's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gastro postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Gastro looking to sit in guard and control but Muffle gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Muffle is pushing down on Gastro's leg trying to pass to half guard. Gastro is fighting to maintain full guard but Muffle has managed to sneak the leg through.

Muffle on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Muffle shoots in for a takedown but Gastro shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
JT Gastro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tod Muffle.

Oh but Muffle is tightening it up a little... Gastro has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Gastro reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Gastro taps out! nice BJJ there by Muffle!
